Spring Maintenance

Clean glass and frames (no abrasives) Clear weep holes; confirm drainage Inspect weatherstripping; replace if worn Lubricate operators, hinges, locks Inspect exterior sealant joints; note gaps/cracks

Fall Maintenance

Repeat cleaning and lubrication as needed Verify lock engagement and adjust strikes if needed Clean tracks/thresholds and check door sweep contact Review interior humidity/ventilation for winter

As Needed

Vacuum slider/hung tracks; keep patio door weep paths open Re-caulk exterior joints where maintenance is homeowner's responsibility Inspect finishes for chips; touch up per manufacturer

What Not to Use

No high-pressure washing on sealed joints or capping No abrasive pads or harsh solvents on frames/finishes
